Yep, the original Daveawayfromhome site. Originally off to a shaky start in May of '05, Dave caught his stride later that August (what he calls the "real" birthdate of the blog) when he discovered that he could rant about politics just as well as he could rant about everything else. No one was listening, of course, but he did it anyway. Now just look how far he's come!

That is, people crazy enough to have linked to Daveawayfromhome from their own blogs (for which Dave is embarrassingly, slobberingly grateful), and for which Dave also has a return link. He reads these blogs on a daily basis, though they dont all necessarily update that often.

These are blogs that Dave reads, some that he reads daily (the "Daily Reads", obviously), some that he only reads as the mood strikes him. All these are divided into categories, of sorts. No prefence should be inferred by the order the blogs are in as he's just too lazy to alphabetize.

Dave has a love of that little button in the top right corner of the blog. You know the one, it says "next blog", and it takes you to a random blog. Often, it's someone brand new blog, fresh as a dandelion. Okay, actually, it's often some damn advertising blog for poker or porn or some stupid crap like that. It is in this manner that Dave has found many of his favorite blogs, including Rev. Gisher, Elvira, Preston and Rude Pundit. As he surfs, he copies down the URLs of the best, and every once in a while, he graciously shares them with you.

Golden Oldies, Dave's Faves, The Stuff That Doesnt Suck Quite As Much As The Rest. Call it what you will, this the stuff that Dave calls "his best work", and almost never catches his tongue between his molars as he does so.
